Despite todays intense heat Company 8 held a car wash outside the station. The proceeds are going to pay for the new website. The boys and girls from the station washed many cars and had a little fun with the hoses in the down time. The members also got a surprise from a family visiting America from Ireland. The family had their car washed and took a tour of the firehouse and trucks also as a special treat they got a ride around town in the engine. We even had the pleasure of washing all three of the Prospect Park Police Department vehicles. We would like to thank everyone who came out to support us. We would also like to thank our friends from the island for bringing Rescue 17 up to show some support.
