Today RIT 8 was dispatched to Sharon Hill for the building fire as the second RIT. The crew set up in the rear of the building. Set up ladders for, marked exits, and did multiple 360's of the building to monitor conditions. During the fire interior conditions deteriorated and the building was evacuated and fire attack was switched to exterior operations. During this time RIT 8 manned 2 hand lines and a ground monitor and assisted in fire suppression. Company 8 also laid about 1000 feet of supply hose to bring water to the fire. All three engines made the response and crews were on scene for close to 5 hours
