Spring is nearly here so that means on Sunday evening March 9th, when you turn your clocks ahead 1 hour, you should replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. You should also take the time to make sure they are clean, and in working order. If they are more than 7 years old you should consider replacing them. They now have smoke detectors that have batteries that you do not have to change for 10 years, and it lets you know when it needs changing. If you have any questions about how many or the locations you should have your smoke detectors, please don't hesitate to contact the firehouse. We will be more than happy to come to your house, free of charge, and do a home analysis. We would be able to share with you some other home fire safety tips and answer any questions you may have. You can contact us at the station by dialing (610)-522-1830 or by E-mail contact@station08.com Remember doing these little things could help save you and your family . BE SAFE
