This afternoon company 8 was dispatched to the Lester section of Tinicum township for a building fire. The fire started in the basement and started to extend up the walls towards the second floor. Engine 8 arrived and was tasked with search and rescue. After a thorough search it was confirmed as initially reported that everyone was out of the building. The fire was put under control quickly followed by extensive overhaul.
